Description: The IEEE Boston Reliability Chapter is holding their July Technology Development Meeting July 9th at Mercury Computer Systems. Gene Bridgers of Mercury Computer will be presenting on their automated Design-for-Reliability (DfR) implementation using Omnify.
If you are interested in seeing an early DfR, you are invited to visit Mercury Computer Systems Inc. and see their automated implementation. The automated DfR-MTBF gets the DfR data to every hardware designer on his or her PC to use at the earliest point when the electrical parts selection process is started. When the hardware designer is nearing completion at the schematic generation stage, an automated DfR BOM (Bill-of-Materials) is sent to the design team for review.
